From time to time, clerks will be required to clerk an Exclusions Panels meeting. This course takes clerks through the whole exclusion process and the part they play - before, during and after the process, including the administration duties surrounding it, recording decisions and advising governors on the procedure. This session will also touch on the role of the Governing board in Exclusions, so clerks are more aware of the expectations of them. This training is free to LA clerks and clerks who's school subscribe to Clerks Training, otherwise the cost is £150 per clerk.
