This is a termly opportunity for Mathematics Subject Leaders to update their knowledge of the hot topics in mathematics in the primary phase. Priorities for the term ahead will be shared and delegates will have time to reflect on the mathematics provision in their own school and identify how this could be improved. Each session will also contain a ‘spotlight’ on a particular area of mathematics which could be delivered as a staff meeting back in school. The sessions also provide the opportunity to network with other subject leaders and exchange ideas and suggestions about the learning and teaching of maths in the primary phase.
