Code: VL/21/008 Oral Health training for SENCOs and LA SEND professionals, working with children 0-19 years

There is a significant link between SEND children and adults and poorer oral health outcomes and links to wider health issues. This can be due to a number of factors, some of which can be mitigated with preventative oral health measures. Poor oral health also has an impact on school readiness, attainment and attendance. This FREE online training is suitable for all SENCOs and all SEND local authority professionals, working with children 0-19. The session will cover the three key messages of brushing, diet and dentist, made specific for the children you support. The training lasts approximately 90 mins and there will be CPD appropriate certificates for all those who attend.
