Code: OPL/22/001 Identifying gaps in children’s writing – practical problem solving in KS2

Children will always develop gaps in their knowledge and understanding, but in a Post Covid climate, teachers need to be very skilled in identifying and solving the issues. However, many teachers find this difficult to unpick in children’s writing and often do not have the skill set to make rapid impact, especially in KS2. This project will be about training class teachers with the tools to identify and prioritise need for specific children in their own class and learn a range of strategies / tools / approaches to potentially close the gaps effectively.
