The purpose of this course is to provide practical guidance on what governors should know and do to ensure that the school is being run in a safe way and without risk to health. Run by a Local Authority subject expert, the course takes a pragmatic approach to embedding health and safety awareness into school life, without becoming a barrier to the day-to-day business of the school and governing body.
