This early intervention programme is aimed at narrowing the gap for students with delayed language development enhancing their progress and raising achievement across all areas of the curriculum. Talk Boost is a 10 intervention designed to support pupils with delayed language development. The programme consists of 3, 30-40 mins sessions per week, for small group of up to 4 children aged 4-7 yrs in FS and KS1. It is delivered by a trained TA, supported by high quality teaching resources, general classroom back-up activities and a pupil's book which may be shared with parents and carers.

This programme, supported by the Department for Education, offers face-to-face training for professionals working across all education settings for pupils aged 5 – 16 years through the Communication and Interaction Service.
