Code: OPL/18/016 Using School Performance Data (Governors of Primary age group and settings)

If governing bodies are to hold their schools effectively to account for pupils’ achievement, they need to ask meaningful questions about pupil attainment and progress data. The aim of the session is to promote governors' understanding and practical use of data; however this is a course about school improvement, not statistics. The approach is a pragmatic look at the questions raised by our schools’ main data sources, helping governors from diverse backgrounds to understand the terminology, and to relate data to real school performance. This training is free to governors who's school subscribe to Governor Training, otherwise the cost is £150 per governor
