Dean Coady OBE is a former Parachute Regiment soldier who joined Greater Manchester Police in 1990 and remained ‘front-line’ throughout his career. Organised Crime, Murder Squad, Gang Unit- based in Moss Side and the Counter-Terrorism Unit, where he acted as an Engagement Officer, providing a conduit between the communities in South Manchester. Dean is also a trained Hostage Negotiator and Illicit Drugs expert. Dean is a specialist trainer on issues related to radicalisation and extremism, street gang activity, child sexual exploitation and the exploitation and trafficking of young people from their home areas, to become involved in crime. (County Lines). This is an interactive and gritty training session for professionals working with young people at risk.

This course is for governors who have taken on the role of lead governor for Special Educational needs. Every governing board must hold its school to account for how well it provides for pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). The SEN Governor is responsible for ensuring that the governing board has appropriate policies and practice in place. This training is free to governors who's school subscribe to Governor Training, otherwise the cost is £150 per governor
