Course aim
While there is a huge amount of information and exemplification of the standards for the end of KS1 and KS2, there is far less guidance available for teachers of those crucial years in lower KS2 – and these are crucial years where really substantial learning takes place, underpinning all the achievements of upper KS2. Where schools get Years 3 and 4 right, the likelihood of improved outcomes in Year 6 is significantly increased.
This 4-session course, running across the academic year 2020-21, aims to give teachers clarity about expectations and progression in Years 3 and 4 through a series of virtual CPD sessions delivered through Microsoft Teams.
Pre-course Information
Any school that wishes can also book a half or full day bespoke support visit to the school (over and above the cost of participation in the training) to support Year 3 and 4 teachers in reviewing pupils’ work and planning next steps.
