To encourage positive behaviour in young children using the Inclusion Development Programme "Supporting Children with Behavioural, Emotional and Social difficulties" as a guide.
To promote emotionally supportive learning environments

Pre-course Information
By the end of the training participants will be able to:

  • Use current theory to develop strategies to support positive behaviour in young children

  • Create positive and supportive learning environments that foster positive behaviour

  • Implement a range of strategies to deal with challenging behaviour

  • Recognise a range of strategies that encourage positive behaviour from all children

  • Share their use of the Inclusion Development Programme with colleagues to develop a whole setting approach

  • Reflect on their own experiences and use these to develop their strategies
