Oxfordshire Service Pupil Conference - Celebrating being a Service Child
The life of a Service child is truly unique having to face a number of challenges through their journey through education. This conference for Service Pupils across the County aims to celebrate their unique journey within Oxfordshire schools and will enable them to have a voice as to how they are supported and how this support might be improved. With input from Professor Alison Baverstock, SkillForce and other Armed Forces related speakers our Service pupils, and staff, will have some fun during the day too!
We are inviting Oxfordshire schools to bring up to 10 Service children and 2 adults to this first conference at the Kassam Stadium celebrating Service children. This conference is FREE to attend and applications can be made via the link below. Lunch will be provided.
We would like to ask children to bring a photo they have taken or some artwork they have made which reflects their life as a Service child. These will be displayed around the room on display boards for the duration of the day.
Feedback from children gathered at this conference will be used at the next Service Pupil conference aimed to support Staff in schools with any number of Service Children taking place on Friday 11th October 2019.
