Pre-course Information
This training is designed for staff who have a leadership role that includes responsibility for developing provision for children on the autism spectrum within an early year setting.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day but please bring your own lunch.
Objectives

By the end of the training participants will be able to:



  • Understand what good autism practice looks like

  • Evaluate and develop autism practice in your setting

  • Audit staff knowledge and skills and identify professional development needs.

  • Understand the need for a flexible and posistive approach to successfully inlcuding children with autism who will need a differentiated Early Years experience
