Course aim
To increase your knowledge of low tech and ‘lite’ tech AAC, some relevant communication apps, simple environmental control including switch toys and early access to IT

Date: Wednesday 16th January 2019
Time: 9.30am – 12.30pm

Cost: £30.00 for staff working in schools.
SENSS staff, Parents/carers/Therapy staff - no charge, this course is subsidised by SENSS

This training will enable you to:

  • Support children who use low-tech AAC


  • Have ideas for ‘lite tech’ AAC and apps to encourage communication development


  • Have an understanding of simple environmental control, including the control of switch toys and switch progression


  • Support children with their early access to ICT
