Pre-course Information

By the end of the training participants will:

  • Have discussed and reflected on how we identify children who have SEN support needs and the requirement to implement a 'graduated response'. (SEND Codr of Practice 2014)

  • Considered the essential paperwork and processes that need to be in place to effectively support a child with Special Educational needs and/or Disabilities

  • Heard about the different funding streams available and when to use them

  • Had an opportunity to practice completing funding forms and spent time discussing and reviewing some'good practice' examples
